Drug Targets
Identification
Identify protein targets for any compound through structural similarity search against curated bioactive databases.
How Drift Works
Three simple steps to target identification
Query
Enter a compound by name, SMILES notation, molecular formula, or database ID. Draw a structure or upload a file.
Rank
Drift searches ChEMBL, ZINC, and HMDB for structurally similar bait compounds and aggregates their known protein targets.
Analyze
Review ranked targets with similarity scores, binding affinity predictions, assay data, and fragment analysis. Export results as CSV.
What is Drift?
Drift is a computational tool to predict protein targets for any unknown chemical compound.
Drift generates FP2 binary fingerprint (path-based) for query compound and performs substructure search against large curated datasets of bioactive molecules with drug-like properties (ChEMBL, ZINC, and HMDB).
The protein targets of identified bait compounds are ranked and listed based on the extent of similarity with the query structure, expediting off-target prediction and drug development.
